The role The Executive Support Officer to the Chief Nurse Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations within the Office of the Chief Nurse Officer (OCNO). Upholding stringent service quality standards and health and safety protocols, this position orchestrates and delivers confidential executive and secretarial support to the Chief Nurse Officer. Responsibilities include managing the Chief Nurse Officer's schedule, facilitating efficient communication between key stakeholders, and coordinating meetings and events, all while exercising discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive matters.
With a focus on maintaining effective communication channels and optimising administrative processes, the Executive Support Officer also undertakes tasks such as correspondence management, research and analysis, and providing support for various committees and forums. This role demands strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work autonomously within defined parameters, and a proactive approach to continually improving office systems to meet the dynamic needs of the executive office.
