**About your new role**:
This full-time hands-on position is responsible for:

- Operating as the first point of contact for inbound customer enquiries
- Developing new and maintaining existing relationships with customers to the highest standard
- Providing technical information and efficient service to customers, whilst maintaining accurate data records within the company ERP and customer relationship tracking systems
- Liaising as a critical touchpoint for customers to confirm order details and accurate product specifications
- Working as a conduit to achieve co-operation between Production and Technical departments within the business
- Supporting the Technical Sales Manager and broader sales team with day-to-day administrative support functions
- Handling customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives
- Assisting in delivering sales budgets for relevant sections of the business

**About you**:
You will have the natural ability to:

- Retain and recall important information whilst interacting with customers
- Understand and interpret technical drawings and measurements
- Work in a fast-paced environment that involves multiple tasks and priorities and continuously shifting priorities
- Use your own initiative, exercise judgment and work autonomously
- Demonstrate sound product knowledge
- Work with people and contribute to a positive team environment

**The experience you will bring to the role**:

- Experience in a similar role which requires exceptional customer service
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment that involves multiple tasks and priorities and continuously shifting priorities
- Experience working in an environment that requires a problem-solving mindset
- Experience in understanding and interpreting technical drawings and measurements
- Competency in Microsoft software packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Competency operating within computer programs such as ERP systems
