About the opportunity
Reporting into the Director, OCEO, the Manager, Ministerial and Parliamentary Services (MAPS) will lead the initiation, effective coordination, and timely delivery of audience appropriate responses for ministerial and parliamentary activities (including correspondence, briefings, parliamentary questions, the Public Accounts and Estimates Committee matters) as well as CEO Briefing Notes.
As Manager of the MAPS team, you will be responsible for leading and coaching others and therefore must have strong stakeholder management skills that support working with different levels across the organisation to deliver concise, authoritative, high quality written material. In turn this will support identification and mitigation of risks and issues that may arise from the provision of technical and project specific advice to non-technical audiences.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Enjoy leading and fostering a developing team, in a high administration delivery focussed role
- Be experienced in providing feedback, advice and recommendations on a range of policy and project issues with a desire to influence standards for writing quality
- Be interested in providing authoritative strategic advice as to best-practice management of ministerial and parliamentary activities using appropriate governance processes and IT solutions.
