Stedmans Hospitality is looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable team member for the position of Conference & Event Coordinator.

The position is Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend hours, and a rotating roster of handling the after-hours mobile.

You will possess the following attributes:

- Immaculate presentation
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and command of the English language
- A natural flair for customer service and empathy for staff members
- Intermediate Computer skills as a minimum
- Be reliable, proactive and a team player
- The ability to organise, prioritise and manage own work load
- **Great attention to detail, not leaving until the job is completed**
- Relevant Bachelor degree (preferred but not essential)
- 2 years’ experience in an events or leadership roleDuties include:

- Liaising with clients to coordinate, quote and arrange for appropriate services for their events
- Handle questions regarding services, caterers, equipment, banquet room costs, etc.
- Negotiate the expenses for services and work within the clients budgets.
- Be onsite to coordinate and deliver service requirements for each event
- Promote events, conferences, specialised trade shows and seminars to clients
- Liaise with bookings team on calculation and selection of teams to ensure smooth running of event from start to finish.
- Ensure maximum customer satisfaction at all times
- To be the Stedmans representative at each event
- Ensure waitstaff and contractors standards align with Stedmans standards and ensure client expectations are exceeded.
- Work with the Senior Client Manager, Training Coordinator and Executive Team to foster business development and growth.
- Work to increase the corporate client database at Stedmans.
- Liaise with the bookings team in selection of appropriate team members for each event

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
