Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Store Operations Manager to join our team at Yarra Trail David Jones Castle Hill.

About the Role:

This part-time leadership position will see you working a Tuesday-Saturday roster across select key trading hours (33.5 hours/week). As a Concession Manager, you will be an integral part of a successful team: maximising sales, and leading day-to-day operations of the store, while ensuring our customers receive considered service and styling, making their experience effortless.

You will build and drive a customer-focused culture through leading by example: acting as a passionate brand ambassador for the Yarra Trail and Brand Collective businesses. You will use data and insights for growth opportunities, and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coach, connect with, and develop your team to achieve business goals and an exceptional customer experience
  • Have 'operational excellence' front of mind when handling products, visual merchandising and considerations for loss prevention management
  • Actively maintain a safe place to work with a focus on promoting wellbeing
  • Recruit, select and train team members who embody Yarra Trail values
  • Build strong relationships with the in-store David Jones team to leverage sales driving, VM and marketing opportunities

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Concession or boutique store retail leadership experience
  • Enthusiasm for creating modern, authentic service experience for our customers
  • Familiarity with styling outfits that leave customers feeling relaxed, confident and tailored to their needs
  • Experience with stock control and VM (comfortability in lifting up to 10kg unassisted)
  • Capabilities in training, coaching and mentoring team members, alongside driving and exceeding KPI's
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience communicating with stakeholders at all levels.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum based on location and experience.
