**Job Title**: Lead Wireless Field Technician
**Location**: Sydney, NSW
**Description**: Join our dynamic and rapidly growing team in Sydney as a Full-time Lead Wireless Field Technician
As a key player in our Network, Infrastructure, and End User Services, you will provide top-notch technical support and ensure seamless service operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a thriving sector and advance your career in telecommunications.
**Responsibilities**:
- ** Technical Excellence**: Deliver high-quality technical support for WCDMA, LTE, 4G, 5G, and NBN technologies.
- ** Installation & Maintenance**: Install and maintain radio base stations, including terminating Hybriflex Cables, Coaxial feeder cables/tails, earthing, cable trays, diplexers, and combiners.
- ** Power Systems**: Upgrade or install DC power rack systems, including rectifiers, batteries, and load testing. Configure and capture status for HOPs.
- ** Network Integration**: Commission and integrate RBS/BTS into the network, ensuring optimal performance.
- ** Testing & Troubleshooting**: Conduct PIM, VSWR, sweep, and fiber testing. Troubleshoot, replace defective equipment, and monitor site performance.
- ** Microwave Installation**: Install and commission microwave indoor and outdoor units.
- ** Software & Commissioning**: Manage software installation, testing, and commissioning of sites.
- ** Relationship Building**: Build and maintain collaborative business relationships with client support personnel and strong working relationships with team and business staff.
- ** Service Coordination**: Coordinate service delivery activities to meet business needs effectively.
**Requirements**:
- ** Experience**: Proven experience as a Lead Wireless Field Technician.
- ** Licenses & Certifications**: Valid Driver's License, Construction White Card, RF/EME Awareness, and Working at Heights knowledge.
- ** Technical Skills**: Strong understanding of wireless telecommunications, quality control, HSE practices, SWMS, JHAs, and MOPs.
- ** Computer & Communication Skills**: Excellent computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- ** Vendor Equipment**: Proven experience of installing and commissioning Nokia & Ericsson equipment in the Australian market.
