An opportunity has become available for an experienced Process Improvement Manager to join Group Regulatory Control Operations as we support Financial Crime Operations and Transformation (FCOT) in our vision to be “The best organisation in Australia at preventing financial crime and serving our customers and the community”. While the Business Process Improvement Team support all four pillars of the FCOT strategy (People, Technology, Data and Process), our primary focus is the Process Pillar. Our objective is to transform processes to deliver a world-class experience for our customers and operations colleagues. We employ a large toolkit of skills and experience from many industries to partner with business stakeholders to co-create end-to-end process, people, and technology future state solutions.

**In this role**

You will act as a process improvement manager, supporting an agile squad in the redesign of our Financial Crime processes to ensure customer, quality, performance, and compliance standards are met as we transition to the cloud.

Other responsibilities will include:

- Leveraging data analytics, process modelling and stakeholder engagement to identify and generate potential solutions to process issues
- Developing solutions and driving project plans, including scope, resources and timing
- Ensuring all initiative milestones, deliverables and success metrics are met
- Identifying risks and act as an escalation point for potential risks
- Identifying specific customer needs and process inefficiencies and develop sustainable process improvement designs
- Driving the removal of potential process, performance, and quality bottlenecks
- Providing guidance and support to Process Improvement Senior Analysts in best practice methodologies and stakeholder engagement

**We’re interested in hearing from people who have**
- Demonstrated ability to understand, document, and analyse processes, particularly within back office, operational environments
- Confidence to question, to truly understand and to offer constructive challenge to find better ways to do things
- Hands-on, experience in identifying and delivering process re-design initiatives, with clear and realised benefits
- Experienced in creating visual presentations and facilitation of workshops to articulate complex concepts to gain stakeholder endorsement of proposed solutions
- Good problem solving and quantitative analysis skills with a strong risk, quality and productivity mindset
- Continuous improvement qualifications e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking and experience of working within of Project Management and Change Management frameworks would be highly regarded
- Experience in Financial Crime processes is not necessary but would be highly regarded
