This is an exciting time to join the Service Experience team as we look to the future, knowing that service delivery and the way we all access, design and build support services will be fundamentally different from today.

**About You/ Role**

The Lead, Process Improvement is responsible for managing, coordinating and organising work to achieve agreed business objectives and performance criteria, within approved work plans. The role operates as part of a team and is fully accountable for the quality and integrity of advice provided.

**On a daily basis, you will**:

- Manage process improvement projects, initiatives and workshops to improve delivery of services to meet corporate services objectives
- Support the implementation of the Continuous Improvement framework & playbook to uplift continuous improvement capabilities across the Department.
- Collaborate and partner with corporate services teams to gain an in-depth understanding of current operational issues and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Perform data gathering, root cause analysis and performance trending in order to develop appropriate process control changes.
- Deliver digital improvements by more effectively using existing systems, deploying new ones and adding or leveraging emerging technologies.
- Prioritise and implement process change requirements based on business requirements and customer needs and prepare communication including training plans regarding process re-engineering for multiple stakeholders.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or related discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Process improvement qualification (e,g, HCD, Lean, Six Sigma) and/or relevant work experience.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Strong experience in driving continuous improvement within a service delivery environment.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
