SC1 Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of IT, infrastructure, systems and equipment including acquisition, installation and maintenance and its educational and administrative use in schools.

SC5 Demonstrated commitment to professional learning and capacity to adhere to Department of Education policies and procedures relating to ICT practices in schools.

**Role**:
Objectives will, generally, be clearly defined; guidelines will be broad and day-to-day direction mínimal. Management responsibility extends to ensuring appropriate support levels are maintained across the school. Range 4 generally provides key support and timely advice to the leadership team and school council and liaises with the general school community, the Department and other government agencies and service providers.

Specialised professional roles will carry a high level of independence and accountability where suitable scope is provided to achieve objectives.

An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students, but must not include duties of teaching as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor. Supervision of students cannot be required except where it is an integral part of the employee¿s position or involves supervision of students individually or in small groups, in controlled circumstances, where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.

**Responsibilities**:
The incumbent will be responsible for the successful delivery of hardware and software technical support at the College.

Proactively develop, plan, implement, evaluate and review initiatives to enhance ICT systems and infrastructure capabilities.

Oversee and manage the I.T. team, including TSSP.

Prepare and execute program / project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and project deliverables, ensuring program activities align to meet program goals.

Oversee the data management, storage and ensure disaster recovery procedures.

Foster strong constructive, productive relationships with all stakeholders across school.

Improve the existing school processes by promoting modern information technology.

Participate in all hardware and software evaluations and maintain vendor contracts.

Attend team meetings upon request and document related work tasks including targeted outcomes and completion dates.

Provide support for live streaming of college events.

Provide technical support for the college website.

Develop and conduct training programs for computer systems users.

Technical Support to Staff and students with technical issues (hardware and software).

Maintain databases and records of IT equipment.

To maintain and work with the Leading Teachers, Assessment and Reporting in the production of student reports and to maintain attendance record system.

Maintain and support for student and staff laptops.
