An exciting opportunity exist s for an **Executive Assistan**t to join the **Division of Surgery / Medicine Department** at Wollongong Hospital.

**What you'll be doing**

This challenging position provides Executive Administration support to the Operations Manager Medicine, Aged Care, Rehabilitation & Palliative Care & Operations Manager Surgery & Cancer Services and other members of the NIHG Executive Administration Offices, located at Wollongong Hospital.

**Where you’ll be working**

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra and Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has bed base of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

**COVID-19 Vaccination Compliance**

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (3 doses for Category A roles, 2 doses for Category B roles) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Demonstrated experience in providing high level executive support to senior managers.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting and preparing complex documents, correspondence and reports; effective communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written with external stakeholders.
- Efficient time management skills, demonstrating the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- High-level information technology and systems, word processing and spreadsheet packages including Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated experience in the operation of TRIM records management software and records management procedures and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
