Downer Energy & Utilities provides end-to-end service solutions across Power, Gas, Telecommunications, Water and Wastewater, Power, Transmission and Renewable Energy constructions. With a strong pipeline of existing and future works, our Document Control team is seeking an additional resource to support multiple programs across the greater Utilities Lines of Business.

**THE ROLE**

Our **Document Controllers **are a centralised team supporting the greater Energy & Utilities Business with Document Management, compliance and deliverables across a portfolio of projects. You will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic organisation, supporting a variety of programs delivering works for a range of clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-sufficient, detail-oriented, adaptable individual seeking a varied portfolio within a supportive and highly valued team.

Duties include:

- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding varying requirements whilst providing direction and facilitation of the end-to-end Document Control process.
- Set up, manage and provide advice on storage, filing and management of all project documentation, ensuring seamless accessibility.
- Advise on process improvement, demonstrate effective document workflow and optimise existing processes.
- Support setup and maintenance of document workflow processes, setup approvers, users, reporting templates, standardise metadata and ensure document processes are fit for purpose.
- Checking quality of documents, monitoring processes and compliance to The Downer Standard verification systems.

**ABOUT YOU**
- A strong track record of Document Control or Quality Control within a Construction project environment.
- The ability to build relationships with various stakeholders at different levels of seniority.
- Team Binder experience (highly regarded).
- Sound knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, experience with cloud-based collaborative platforms and adaptable to differing systems from client-to-client.
- Team player with the ability to build rapport quickly and the desire to continue your career with Downer.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a strong eye for detail.
