**About the Role**:
The APAC Export Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding export sales operations across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, with a focus on driving revenue growth and market share. The role requires an individual with a deep understanding of APAC markets, including North Asia and SE Asia, and proficiency in either Chinese (Mandarin) or Japanese to engage with local partners and clients. The Export Manager will develop export strategies, oversee distribution channels, ensure compliance with trade regulations, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

**Market Analysis and Strategy Development**:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify export opportunities in APAC markets.
Develop and implement export strategies for the APAC region in line with the company's growth objectives.
Analyze competitive landscape, customer needs, and emerging market trends.
**Sales and Business Development**:
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, partners, and customers in APAC.
Manage end-to-end sales processes, including lead generation, negotiations, and closing deals.
Identify and secure new business opportunities in existing and untapped markets.
Achieve and exceed sales targets by developing effective export strategies.
**Client and Partner Management**:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and partners in the region, offering excellent customer service.
Provide regular product updates, technical information, and market intelligence to partners.
Facilitate business development initiatives such as trade shows, sales trips, and promotional events.
**Compliance and Documentation**:
Ensure all export activities comply with international trade regulations, local laws, and internal policies.
Manage export documentation, including shipping, customs, and tax documentation.
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to navigate trade regulations in different APAC countries.
**Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination**:
Collaborate with internal teams to manage the export process, including shipping, distribution, and inventory management.
Coordinate logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to APAC clients.
Address any logístical challenges and optimize the supply chain for efficiency and cost savings.
**Reporting and Performance Management**:
Track and report on sales performance, market share growth, and distribution effectiveness in APAC.
Provide regular updates to senior management on sales forecasts, market insights, and key developments.
Use CRM systems to manage client relationships and sales pipeline effectively.

Bachelor's degree in International Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in export management, international sales, or business development within the APAC region.
Proven track record of success in exporting to China, Japan, and other APAC markets.
Experience in managing distributors, agents, or sales partners across multiple countries.
Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) or Japanese (both written and spoken) is required
Strong knowledge of APAC markets, business practices, and regulatory environments.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Solid understanding of international trade regulations and export documentation.
Proficient in CRM software, MS Office, and sales analytics tools.
Results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Cultural sensitivity and ability to work across diverse markets and teams.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
Willingness to travel extensively within the APAC region.
