**About the role at QBE Ventures**

QBE Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of QBE Insurance Group, with a global remit and offices in Sydney, New York and London. We invest in and partner with early and growth-stage technology companies that will re-imagine insurance.

The Strategy & Partnerships team drives strategic projects with QBE Ventures’ portfolio companies, prospective portfolio companies and with the QBE business, as well as support the development and execution of QBE Ventures’ strategy.

As an Associate, you will support strategy deliverables (e.g. investment theses, partnership strategies and portfolio company projects) in a hands on capacity by driving the research, analysis, storyboarding and PowerPoint creation as well as facilitating stakeholder conversations. Working as a part of a cross functional team, you will also support the identification of new opportunities, the completion of early-stage viability sprints, as well as developing proof of concept projects with portfolio companies and the broader QBE group.

Key experience required:

- Strong consulting tool kit, incl. e.g. driving PowerPoint material creation end-to-end, from analysis to final deliverable
- Supported strategy development, preferably gained within strategy/management consulting
- Supported high-impact projects
- Track record as outstanding problem-solver and strategic thinker

**Seniority**

Mid Level - A role for someone with some well-developed knowledge and skills they can bring to the role and team. Typically after 2-5 years of experience.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Data Analysis and Reporting - Analyze data to discover and communicate insights, and offer concrete recommendations for key stakeholders to make critical decisions
- Stakeholder Engagement - Partner with stakeholders to understand specifications, business requirements, and communicate insights.
