**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Sustainability Specialist to join the national Sustainability team for a 2 year fixed term contract. The location for this position is flexible, and can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane. This is a unique opportunity to work in partnership with a blue chip national client to deliver tangible and practical sustainability outcomes.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Develop, drive & implement a customised sustainability strategy to support a key Veolia client in achieving their sustainability goals
- Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to embed and support the sustainability outcomes of the client
- Explore opportunities to implement unique and innovative waste solutions to support the diversion of client waste from landfill
- Prepare and present waste management reports to the client, including data
- Advise Veolia’s clients on best practice waste management in order to deliver greater efficiency and sustainability outcomes

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- Work with & interrogate data
- Experience in sustainability advantageous but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Knowledge of key sustainability trends and practices
- Certificate 3 in environmental science, sustainability or similar qualification
- Stakeholder and customer engagement
