**The Opportunity**
Working within the Grid Automation team, the focus for this role is to successfully support the sales team by delivering complex real time control systems to customers pulling from your previous experience and knowledge of the power utilities sector.
You will work with the sales team end to end through proactive sales activities and tendering to negotiations and a closed deal, leading the technical solutions, supporting the technical engineers and SME’s
**What we’re looking for**
We’re looking for someone who can bring their passion and energy to a business-critical role and has experience in the below, or competence in delivering on the below areas
- Network Control SCADA/GMS/EMS/ADMS/MMS presales activities related to potential customers in Asia pacific region.
- Support and assist the sales team on all pre-sales technical aspects to grow the business for Network Control in Asia Pacific.
- Working operationally in Presales activities whilst working closely with the Sales Managers, Proposal team, Product Management to promote the technical solutions to the customers.
- Proactively preparing the market and participating in the bids activities with the sales team.
- Leading the technical solutions in collaboration with the proposal managers as well as the sales organization
- Acting as our customers technical trusted advisor during the sales cycle.
- Responsible for the design of the technical solution strategy of our offering and demonstration of the Network Control products.
- Bachelor or higher in Electrical Engineering or similar, preferably in the Power Systems field.
- Experience with an electric utility vendor or provider
- Possess general understanding of the various methods of organizing and regulating electricity industries specially in APAC region.
- Confidence in preparing and delivering solutions both written and in presentation form
- The ability to make the complex simple and show creativity in your approach to problem-solving.
