**The Opportunity**:
With a suite of repeat clients and growth of new business sectors across Australia, they are currently looking to grow their Queensland team, based predominately in the Brisbane CBD and Inner Suburbs. Joining an extremely skilled and friendly, supportive tea, the consultant may occasionally be travelling to regional areas of Queensland The Technical Consultant will be involved in the following:

- Building condition assessment reporting
- Building pathology and defect reporting, including scoping of remedial repairs
- Undertaking visual assessments of properties with the provision of professional reporting
- Technical due diligence reporting
- Make good assessment
- Schedules of condition (pre-lease reporting)
- Dilapidation reports
- Lifecycle reporting, including CAPEX forecasts
- Asset Register development

**Your Skillsets**:
As a Technical Consultant, you will bring with you a strong technical appreciation and in-depth knowledge of the workings of a commercial building and how to optimise its performance and ongoing maintenance and rectification. This could include anyone with a qualification in Building Surveying, Construction, Carpentry or an equivalent field.

You will demonstrate the following:

- Sound building construction and fabric knowledge, ideally gained from working in a trade based environment or consultancy role
- Appreciation of the criticality of an assets’ impact on the operation of a property
- Interest in working across a diverse sector from commercial assets to hospitals to schools to PPE's and commercial owners
- Confidence in utilising technology and appreciation of how technology interfaces with a building to improve performance
- Ability to develop written reports incorporating technical information
- Deadline and project outcome focused
- Excellent report writing and stakeholder communication skills
