Reporting to the People Operations Manager, the **People Services Manager** leads a centralised team to deliver accurate HR services efficiently, ensuring smooth transactional processes and offering expert advice on procedures and compensation.
Responsibilities include coaching the team to meet SLA targets, coordinating tasks effectively, identifying areas for improvement, and resolving conflicts. As a trusted advisor, they provide timely assistance with inquiries and escalations.
The People Services Manager delegates work portfolios strategically, closely monitoring performance against SLAs, and fosters a supportive culture, coaching individuals for growth while managing team performance. They also play a key role in transactional approvals, collaborate seamlessly with other HR teams, build strong ties with the payroll department for seamless data exchange, and drive improvement projects forward.
Additionally, they align the team's tasks to support cyclical People calendar events and collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen relationships and enhance the P&C brand.
**Location**: South Guildford, WA
**Roster**:Monday - Friday, 8.5-hour days
**To be successful the following is required**:
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, or relevant field, or actively pursuing HR studies or AHRI Membership
- Flexible and adaptable with strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder management in a dynamic environment
- Customer-focused with proactive problem-solving abilities, adept at identifying process improvements
- Proficient in end-to-end People processes, policies, and HR procedures
- Awareness of HR/Payroll interfaces, skilled in resolving potential problems or issues and take necessary actions to prevent them from developing
- Highly organised with excellent multitasking and delegation abilities
- Proven leadership skills, including conflict resolution and team development
- Familiarity with SAP, Success Factors, SAP Fiori, and SharePoint is seen as highly advantageous
