A significant and transformative government reform agenda is underway in the early learning sector. The Commercial Modelling Specialist will work with members of the Reform Implementation team and relevant stakeholders to assess the changes needed to ensure that Goodstart thrives during this period of transformation and in the new environment.

The Commercial Modelling Specialist will collaborate with members of the Reform Implementation Team and relevant stakeholders to develop scenarios Goodstart may deploy in response to changes in the early learning environment, to describe the commercial and operational implications of these scenarios and to support the presentation of scenarios to decision makers.

The primary focus of the role is to enable informed data-driven decision making for all opportunities arising from the changes to the early learning sector, the competitive landscape, market/customer behaviour and workforce dynamics arising from the government reform agenda.

**Your Impact**:
Understand the detail of reforms emerging from state and federal governments and the impact these changes will have on the external environment (commercial and competitive landscape, customer/ market behaviour and workforce dynamics).
Understand the changes required to adapt Goodstart’s existing internal operational model (structure, disposition and capabilities) to changes brought about by federal and state early learning reforms.
Work to develop alternative approaches to adapt Goodstart’s existing operational model, internal structure and disposition to optimise performance in the external environment both during and after the government reforms.
Develop and present detailed modelling to describe the implications of potential change scenarios.
Develop and present detailed revenue and expenditure plans for selected programs and initiatives and to build understanding of impacts across enterprise key performance metrics.
Track and monitor the realisation of benefits arising from changes made to adapt to the early learning reforms.
Create reports and presentations to support Reform Implementation processes and decision making.
Embed continuous practice improvement activities into project delivery, including the capture of continuous improvement learnings to inform future projects.

You’ll bring to the table;
5+ years’ experience as a senior commercial modelling / analyst professional.
Formal qualifications or certification in a related discipline.
Experience in commercial management and change leadership.
Well-developed knowledge and understanding of program and project management frameworks, approaches, tools and phases of the program/project lifecycle.
Able to work and network successfully in complex matrix organisations.
Highly adaptive and flexible with an ability to work independently and collaboratively under quickly changing circumstances.
Strong coordination and organisational skills focused on outcomes.
