About the RACGP
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. We foster the future of general practice through our profession-led, community-based training model for the Australian General Practice Training Program and other training pathways. We train GPs to deliver quality, whole-person care to patients across Australia, support their ongoing professional development and provide a point of connection for GPs serving communities in every corner of the country.

About you
As our National Clinical Lead - Fellowship Support Program (FSP) you’ll have demonstrated ability to implement innovative strategy, have high level communication and interpersonal skills combined with extensive exposure working as a GP in a General Practice and medical education environment.

**To thrive in the role, you must have**:
Advanced medical education competencies in general practice training including small group education, mentorship, work-based assessment, and performance management
Experience and interest in people management and leadership
Hold a current Australian specialist registration in general practice without addenda and with a clinical scope of practice
A high level of initiative, conceptual and analytical thinking
About the opportunity
Reporting to the National Director of Training, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of the Fellowship Support Program to ensure high quality support and training for participants. You’ll be accountable for all leadership activities related to the delivery of medical education and assessment in the FSP program. In addition, you’ll:
Ensure effective delivery of all education and assessment activities for the FSP program.
Oversee medical education, assessment, participant support and remediation functions as part of program delivery.
Manage workforce planning and recruitment, supporting the training FSP Medical Education pipeline.
Mentor and support the medical education team to deliver the training program and review program strategy.
