About the Role

As a Clinical Practice Advisor (CPA) specialising in adults, your role will involve working on a national level. You will be responsible for providing support, mentoring, and training to our team of Speech

Pathologists who either have adult clients with specific needs or are interested in enhancing their skillset. Your expertise will be delivered through various mediums such as phone, face to face, and video conferencing. It is essential that you possess strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities. Your passion for assisting both your team members and the community will be a driving force in your role.

Located in one of our Deer Park, Bundoora, Ringwood, Dandenong or Cheltenham office, and operating under a highly adaptable working structure, the CPA Adult SP position will oversee an independent clinical caseload and deliver clinical training and mentoring to Speech Pathologists across the country. Utilising advanced professional expertise and discernment, this role will offer assistance for intricate clinical caseloads. Additionally, it is responsible for offering top-notch clinical supervision to a driven team in Melbourne.

About You

We like to keep an open mind when it comes to bringing therapists on board With that being said, there are a few requirements for the role, which are:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • 5+ years' experience within the community sector
  • Advanced knowledge in Adults
  • Experience with developing and/or delivering clinical education to health professionals
  • Experience with clinical supervision, particularly for Early Career Therapists
  • Capacity to apply high-level professional skills and judgement to complex clinical caseloads
  • SPA Registration
  • NDISWC / WWCC (or willingness to apply)
  • Current Australian driver's licence and able to travel with your own vehicle
