Vocational Education and Training (VET) at The University Notre Dame Australia provides students with the skills they need to thrive in the health and education industries. We provide career preparation and formal qualifications to specialise in a certain area of work, to make a career change or as a pathway into higher education. Our programs are flexible and structured so students can learn online, on-campus and in the field.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The successful applicant will be required to:

- Effective oversight, coordination and delivery of all VET Nursing qualifications.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance of the Diploma of Nursing program with the Enrolled Nurse Accreditation Standards (ENAS) at all times.
- Provide expert advice on VET Nursing qualifications as the discipline leader and oversees the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of the Nursing program, ensuring that VET programs are consistent and compliant with VET Quality Framework and standards.
- Day to day management of all administrative matters relating to operational and strategic planning, governance, budgeting, reporting, resource management and workforce planning.
- Initiate and foster professional relationships and networks within the University community and with external stakeholders, professional and community organisations and clients.
- Contribute to the training and assessment delivery of VET courses, by providing adhoc support and backfill.
- Delivering teaching and conduct of tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions and clinical sessions, including associated marking and assessments.
- Assist the Compliance Manager to conduct audits and random checks to ensure compliance with all requirements.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with no conditions or undertakings related to performance or behavior.
- A TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or be willing to complete as part of their employment.
- Demonstrated experience of working within of the current standards of RTO requirements.
- Advanced understanding of VET delivery and RTO compliance and funding requirements and an understanding of the Australian training environment including Training Packages and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues in the VET sector.
