**Organisation Overview**

St Patrick’s Community Support Centre (St Patrick’s) is a specialist homelessness service which has
been working side by side with vulnerable people in Fremantle and the wider south metropolitan
region for 50 years. St Pat’s delivers a range of specialist, evidence-based services designed to break
the cycle of homelessness and disadvantage, including housing, health, welfare and emergency relief
and social inclusion.

JDF - Philanthropy and Fundraising
Manager

**Position Intention**

This position reports to the CEO and works closely with and supported by the Organisation
Development and Corporate Services teams in the development and execution of the philanthropy
strategy, which includes managing a portfolio of existing donor relationships as well as undertaking
continual prospecting for new opportunities through corporate and philanthropic networks. The
incumbent is responsible for representing St Pat’s at networking events and building and nurturing
relationships with high net-worth individuals, companies, Trusts and Foundations.

**Key Performance Indicators**

This position requires a strategic and results -driven professional. Effectiveness will be measured
against fundraising performance, revenue against return on investment, donor retention and
acquisition, and relationships and collaborations.

Expected deliverables:

- Positive relationships with donors, corporates and key philanthropic stakeholders maintaining a

high retention rate and demonstrated increase in donors year over year.
- Drive increased returns from regular fundraising streams through ongoing pledges, multi-year

philanthropic agreements, bequests and the like with a goal of increasing annual revenue
- Agreed targets and budgets met from annual campaigns and fundraising events.

- Lead and manage the organization's front-line philanthropy/fundraising

strategy and activities in partnership with the Corporate Services Team and
the Organisation Development Manager.
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet the

organization's financial goals and objective.
- Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with current and potential

corporate sponsors, philanthropists, benefactors, and individual donors.
- Create innovative and compelling campaigns and appeals to engage and

solicit support from a range of stakeholders.

- Coordinate and manager fundraising events and donor engagement

activities, that may include round table functions, receptions, briefings,
dinners, and/or other such high-profile events.
- Identify sponsors and ensure donor stewardship during events to maximise

fundraising opportunities.

- Support preparation, execution, and follow-up of major donor event(s) to

bring together our community of individuals and corporates interested in and
supportive of our work.
- Establish and manage the annual appeals program.
- Establish and management bequest and legacy giving programs

- Ensure timely and meaningful communication to foster long-term

engagement.
- Identify strategic partners and develop and maintain networks and

relationships both within and external to the organization to support
