**BMH Electrics Pty Ltd **exists to maintain, install and assess electrical assets and equipment for a wide range of customers including power utilities, mining, digital display technologies, defence and construction.**

An **Operations Scheduler **undertakes various duties to ensure the smooth operation of all contracts and projects across BMH Electrics Pty Ltd. The **Operations Scheduler **is a direct influence on the experience of our staff and our customers. Working with the operations team, your aim is to develop and maintain an accurate schedule to ensure effective use of personnel and resources.

As a **Operations Scheduler** you will provide project support to particular departments and functions within an organisation, or as part of a shared services team. You will be required to have strong organisational, time management and communication skills, and be capable of handling many tasks at once.

You will be covering a wide range of tasks and activities including (but not limited to) resource scheduling, travel and logistics, department meetings and off-site activities, and meeting coordination.

**Daily Tasks**
- Report KPI's to the Operations Manager
- Live scheduling of jobs
- Analyse capacity requirements and liaise directly with Supervisors to utilise available personnel maximising efficiency
- Coordinate the scheduling of work including booking and allocation of jobs, preparation of weekly and monthly schedules and maps
- Plan, schedule, and monitor fit for purpose vehicles, trailers, plant and equipment to optimize utilisation
- Assist with the implementation of new contracts
- Manage employee inductions
- Assign customer requests where required
- Attend to client enquiries
- Organising external traffic management for clients' requirements
- Accurately completing daily timesheets with details of work completed within the timesheet hours

**Essential Criteria**
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a Scheduler role or similar
- Tech Savvy
- Friendly, professional and well presented
- Advanced interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Commercially astute with a positive attitude and willingness to perform a variety of duties
- Attention to detail with solid organisational skills and capabilities in terms of prioritising work and meeting deadlines
- Works well autonomously, has strong initiative coupled with the ability to work without supervision and take initiative

**Desirable Criteria**
- Computer coding knowledge
- Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
