We are looking for a creative and passionate social media manager to execute the next stage of Koala’s social media strategy. In this role, you will run all organic social channels, with a focus on growth through engagement, brand love & entertainment, while informing content direction.

As the Social Media Manager, you will help build & execute the social media strategy for organic social channels across Instagram, Facebook & TikTok etc.

We seek a creative marketer with a proven track record of running organic social media channels for direct-to-consumer brands. With an agile approach to pivot direction according to customer insight while staying true to the Koala brand, you will consistently test & learn, exploring new avenues for engagement and growth with our social community.

**Requirements**:

- Strategy Thinker: Implement effective social media strategies aligned with the company's overall marketing goals. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to ensure a competitive edge.
- Content Creation and Curation: Manage the creation, curation, and scheduling of engaging and relevant content across various social media platforms, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns that drive user engagement, lead generation, and brand loyalty. Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling visuals, videos, and other multimedia content.
- Community Engagement: Monitor and actively engage with online communities, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and authentic manner. Foster meaningful connections with the audience.
- Analytics and Reporting: Utilise social media analytics tools to track performance metrics, analyse data, and generate insights. Translate data into actionable recommendations for optimizing strategies and achieving KPIs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with performance marketing, influencer program, partnerships, content performance & customer insights to align social media efforts with overall business objectives and campaigns.

**Ideal background**
- 2-4+ years of social media marketing experience at a high growth direct-to-consumer brand or early stage startup
- Experience in working with creative teams, multiple sources of content and finding insights to inform creative performance.
- Experience in working to support creation of social first content strategies to drive multiple objectives including engagement, reach & brand love.
- Analytical skills in measuring performance of strategic direction across organic social channels, and ability to clearly communicate learnings & drivers for success with the wider team
