**About the role**
Are you an individual who takes pride in their attention to detail, loves to work in a collaborative team and thrives working in the great outdoors?

Our Open Space Grounds Tractor Operator will be part of our enthusiastic and experienced Parks Leadership team to provide their expertise in the maintenance of Glen Eira’s Open Spaces.
- Other responsibilities include:_
- Assist in maintaining sports grounds and open spaces to specified standards in the areas of mowing, landscaping, weed control, cleaning, trimming and other associated park maintenance.
- Safely and competently operate medium horticultural machinery.
- Carry out regular condition assessments and inspections on sportsgrounds & facilities assets in line with Council’s condition criteria and schedules
- Ensure equipment is routinely maintained in accordance with maintenance procedures to maximise safety and clean working conditions.

**About you**
You will bring your personal finesse and precision, along with your experience in landscaping/turf maintenance to the Open Space Grounds Tractor Operator position.

The following is also required:

- Relevant experience and/or qualifications in the turf maintenance/landscaping maintenance field.
- Experience with safe operation and maintenance of sports grounds, parks maintenance and landscaping plant and equipment.
- Ability to use basic mobile technology including the asset management system ‘Confirm’ is desirable.
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
