Glen Eira Leisure is an industry leader in health and wellness. and one of Australia premium council run facilities. Offering over 80 Reformer classes per week at GESAC and Caulfield Recreation Centre, GEL operates one of Australia’s premium council-run facilities

**About the role**
Glen Eira Leisure is looking experienced and vibrant Reformer Pilates instructors to join our team.

Our Group Fitness Instructors are responsible for facilitating and conducting Group Fitness classes whilst motivating clients in a supportive and encouraging manner.

We operate two fully equipped and purpose-designed reformer studios with 18 beds at GESAC and 15 at Caulfield Recreation Centre.

Part of this role includes setting up of equipment before and after classes, keeping members up to date with centre promotions and providing guidance to trainee instructors.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will be energetic and uplifting, delivering classes that are fun and maintain high attendance levels.

You will also have excellent customer service skills and maintain a professional relationship with members, ensuring all communications are positive and constructive.

Other requirements include:

- Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Employee Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Relevant Program Certification in Reformer Pilates
- Demonstrated experience in delivering exceptional Group Fitness classes
- A knowledge of relevant classes/programs and equipment used in fitness classes

Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC) is one of Australia's premier Sports and Aquatic Centres that features state of the art aquatics, fitness, sports, rehabilitation, wellness, café and occasional care facilities. Carnegie Swim Centre (CSC) is a seasonal outdoor pool which has been servicing the community for over 60 years. Caulfield Recreation Centre (CRC) is a fully equipped gym which offers personal training and group fitness classes. With over 1.7 million attendances annually, these popular facilities are widely used by the local and regional community.
