**The Opportunity**

Bring your first class managerial and organisational skills to this unique and exciting opportunity and help to develop and expand a global information service which strives to better inform citizens worldwide.

The General Manager, 360info is a critical leadership position which supports and advises the Director and the Strategic Lead, Editorial and Product in the management of 360info.

In this pivotal role you will lead and manage the administration, governance and resource and business planning functions in line with the University’s policies and compliance framework.

As a senior member of the leadership team, your active contribution to the strategic and operational planning and achievement of the goals and objectives of 360info will be an important part of our success.

An expert communicator, you will initiate and build partnerships with stakeholders across the world, our university and media content partners as well as business units, industry, government and the broader community.

A core part of this role is your management and support of the overall day-to-day operations in areas of business development, technology, relationship management and legal as well as service delivery and you will provide expert advice at both strategic and operational levels.

You will also take responsibility for oversight, delivering within budget targets and the preparation of financial, impact and status reports as well as technical performance updates to the board.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Support the staff of 10 in Melbourne and our team of international editors
- Manage and run the Budget and HR requirements
- Support development of international hubs
- Support development of funding pitches
- Manage and monitor contracts, liaising with Monash OGC
- Support the 360info Chair and Advisory Council
- Support the development of 360info's impact reporting and audience reach

**About you**:

- Clear experience in managing and supporting a creative team in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent communication skills, including a proven ability to write in a clear, succinct manner
- An interest in global affairs, and an understanding of the Asia-Pacific region
- Flexibility to be able to attend Zoom meetings with our global partners at mutually agreed times
- Motivation and energy to help a start-up succeed
