About the Division

The Investment Management Office for the bank is within our Finance division.

Within the Finance division the IMO is part of the Group Financial Performance, Investment and Property team that provides the core financial information and models to support performance measurement, target setting and understanding drivers of financial outcomes as well as the management of the group properties (all physical premises, corporate and branch).

The Investment Management Office team supports BEN with delivering:
minimum standards for Project Governance and guidelines for use
reporting to senior leaders (Executive, Investor Relations and Board)
support and governance for change initiatives

About the role

The Head of Investment Operations leads the Investment Management Office team and provides strong leadership and guidance to deliver quality outcomes from a team of experienced professionals. The leader will manage a significant period of change and must demonstrate a high level of commerciality, stakeholder management and ability to drive performance and growth mindset.

The role is critical in the delivery of our investment and transformation agenda. As we are currently in the process of reimagining the way we work the immediate priorities for the Head of IMO will be to draft and socialise options for our bank framework to management demand, prioritise investment and the minimum standards for the projects. The Head of will be the key SME in driving a new more efficient way of working across our The ability to influence, collaborate and lead will be a critical competency for the success of this role.

**The Head of Investment Operations is responsible for**:
high quality, accurate and timely information including recommendations and analysis
reporting and management of roadmap including, the progress towards achieving business objectives and benefits
recommending investment outcomes and understanding bank strategic priorities and areas of focus
working closely with the delivery team to ensure alignment on RAG (red, amber, green) status
leading a team and driving performance culture
working closely with Strategy, Technology and Transformation and Finance
clearly articulating requirements, challenges and processes to manage expectation and reconcile difference

The Head of must develop and continuously improve the processes and reporting and actively make contribution to the maturity of frameworks within the team.

Strong networking, influencing and relationship building skills will also be paramount, as this role will work across the organisation.
