Sherpa Studio is a venture studio and development agency partnered with an investment firm. We are dedicated to developing, scaling and investing in high potential startups and scaleups.

We are a joint venture between DiUS and the Cornwalls Group of companies including Cornwalls Law and Cornwalls Capital. The combined diverse but complementary skill sets of these sets of businesses allow Sherpa Studio to partner with start-up founders to design, grow and scale innovative ideas into established companies. **About the role**

As part of the leadership team, you will use your problem solving skills to help the team build a vibrant and successful startup ecosystem in Australia with a potential to launch into the rest of Asia and other international markets, such as the US.

This is a great opportunity to join the Sherpa Studio team as we build on the foundations already established to develop a world class startup studio. The Sherpa Studio team is responsible for leading startup founders through their individual journeys, across a variety of industries with a focus on priority sectors, which are aligned with our partner investment funds, such as women-led founders and diversity, FinTech, Web3 and blockchain.

Day to day you will own operations, take responsibility for the delivery pathway for startups, work to drive strategic initiatives, grow the Sherpa Studio founder community and work with key strategic partners.

This is a linchpin role where you will partner with founders and connect our business platform to successfully harmonise and mobilise business development, solutions architecture, software development, marketing, venture capital, software development and product teams. Across Sherpa Studio, DiUS, Cornwalls Group and its affiliate partners, to develop, execute and drive results for founding teams.

**About You**

You will have a strong ability to dive deep, establish relationships, articulate and mobilise plans and manage stakeholders. A keen sense of vision, ownership, drive, curiosity and the ability to navigate new and unique founder pathways.

Excellent communication and the ability to openly collaborate with all levels of business is a must

**Key responsibilities**
- Work closely with the management team from Cornwalls Group and DiUS.
- Develop, implement and monitor the Shepa Studio strategy for engaging with the startup community.
- Be a driving force in operational deliverables (metrics, reporting, resourcing, and narrative development for the overall team strategy).
- Lead business cadence activities such as strategic planning, resourcing, project delivery timelines.
- Own processes, operational efficiency including team communication, documentation and reporting.
- Define and deliver startup goals, reporting and metrics.
- Identify opportunities to design and execute on new startup growth activities and opportunities.
- Own the startup customer journey experience - adding value and changing the lives of founders

**You will also bring the following skills to the table**:

- 5+ years of technology/startup account management related experience
- Passion for startups, understanding the local ecosystems
- Ability to influence and enable internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to engage with people on a variety of levels and topics
- Entrepreneurial mentality
- Experience developing and executing leading go to market programs
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools/programs
- Willing to travel to client sites, meetings and events nationally
