The Officer - Contracts and Procurement will be responsible for assisting the Corporate Procurement & Contracting functions with day-to-day activities, with a particular focus on continual improvement activities that deliver efficiencies.
It is a highly collaborative role that requires an out of the box thinker, with strong attention to detail to drive improvement initiatives through to implementation with a focus on process and function optimisation.

**Key Accountabilities**
The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Assist with data analysis.
- Document control of executed contracts.
- Maintain contract registers.
- Support the management of contract lifecycle activities.
- Administer various meetings.
- Assist with supplier reconciliation, such as GRNI & GINR.
- Assist with document development and got to market activities including request for quotations, tenders, and related approvals.
- Develop templates and reports to support procurement and contracting activities.
- General administrative support to the procurement & contracting functions.
- Support with the development of contractual documents and change notices.
- Develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to deliver efficiencies in process and working collaboratively to affect positive change that optimises overall processes.
- Work in collaboration with the Divisions of Perenti to ensure Group Wide contracts meet the requirements of the Group.
- Assist in training and providing ongoing support to corporate staff regarding the Purchase to Pay processes.
- Other related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice

**Key Skills and Experience required**
- Experience in contracting & procurement functions.
- Advanced capability with ERP systems and knowledge of workflows.
- Previous contract or supplier management experience.
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills as well as an analytical mind and strong attention to detail.
- Have a broad understanding of procurement and corporate governance principles.

**The role will be based at the Perenti office in the Perth CBD.**
