**About The Role**:
A significant strategic journey is underway across Bendigo Kangan Institute (BKI). 2024 is Year Four with 2025 our final year of our current strategy, along with embedding our transformation program which has been running for the past three years. The Change Manager will be responsible for change across key projects that will enable and deliver our strategy and continued focus on our enterprise-wide transformation program and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Program Management with daily direction from the Program Director and Enterprise Change Lead, the Change Manager will work closely with the change team to coordinate and support communication, change, and engagement across the program of work and key project initiatives.

They will be responsible for developing and delivering the required change plans and strategies and aligning with key stakeholders and portfolios to support execution across BKI. The role accountabilities cover key components of change including people and culture, systems and processes and technology improvements.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced change manager with strong engagement, stakeholder management and communications skills. Previous experience in a change role in a similar environment would be highly regarded. There are no supervisory responsibilities required.

**We are excited about you because you have**:

- Minimum five years' experience in a Change Manager/Lead role, with extensive experience in change management or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/ or education training in a similar environment
- Delivered change on technology and system-based projects
- Experience in providing supervision and day-to-day direction of project change resources
- Accreditation in a relevant change methodology and framework, or approach and knowledge of organisational change methodologies and frameworks, and current trends and approaches to organisational change (PROSCI preferred)
- Relevant degree and relevant postgraduate qualification in business, change and/or communications and experience; or lesser formal qualifications with extensive experience in change management.
- Highly developed communication/interpersonal skills with a demonstrated record of strong commitment and achievement in meeting stakeholder needs
- Experience in facilitating and delivering training, including needs assessments
- Analytical and problem-solving ability, and capacity to devise, deliver and monitor practical solutions
- Time management and organisational skills, including the ability to set project plans and manage key milestones and deliverables
- Advanced skills in Microsoft office suite, in particular Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Proven ability to deliver tactical communications within a similar organisational environment.
