Marketing & Communications Officer

Centurion is seeking a Marketing & Communications Officer to assist in the coordination and execution of Centurion’s marketing and communications strategies and activities, both external and internal. This newly created role will report to the Marketing & Communications Manager and will work to provide marketing and communications support across all areas.
**About the Role**
- Support the delivery and administration of engaging and accurate communication content for various internal and external stakeholders via various online and offline platforms and channels
- Assist in managing Centurion’s internal communications platforms and deliver communications materials, both on digital platforms (e.g., Sharepoint, MailChimp) and offline channels
- Provide support in the management of Centurion’s social media channels, including content creation, scheduling and reporting as required
- Assistance in coordination of Centurion website and online presence
- Coordination, preparation & editing of Centurion photography & videography, including management of corporate library
- Provide assistance in the management of internal and external events and sponsorships as required
- Provide general administrative support and maintain the Marketing & Communications team’s online filing and document management systems
- Provide assistance in the development of presentations and other communication tools
- Assist with content development, graphic and creative design
- Liaise with agencies and external marketing vendors
- Design, production and distribution of promotional materials and merchandise
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the performance of marketing activities
- Other ad-hoc marketing activities as directed
**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in public relations, communication, marketing or a similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - copywriting, proofreading, and presentation skills
- Sound knowledge of digital and social media
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Experience with InDesign, other Adobe creative products is an advantage
