City is looking to expand its team of casual Rangers to supportour busy team during peak periods, cover leave, and assist withproactive patrolling of our stunning beaches and parks.

The City is progressive in the way it operates so adaptabilityto change and a positive attitude is important.

In this role, you will mainly engage with the community byconducting proactive patrols, educating the public at our parks,reserves, and beaches, and ensuring compliance. Your duties willinclude checking animals for microchips and registration and takingenforcement action where necessary. You will be responsible for allother Ranger related matters as needed.

Applicants must possess the following;

Previous experience as a Ranger. Certificates in Municipal Law Enforcement A&B or the equivalent Regulatory Officer Compliance Skills (ROCS 1 & 2). Current driver's licence. Highly developed communication skills to negotiate professionally in conflict resolution situations. Computer skills to operate handheld devices and system data entry. Sound investigative skills.

Our Rangers Service operates 7 days a week, and the successfulapplicant must be able to work outside of normal office hours,weekends and some public holiday periods, at which point penaltyrates would be payable.

The City will provide uniforms and equipment necessary for therole during working hours.

It is expected that the successful applicants will commencetheir roles early October.

Hourly rate: $ per hour + shift penalties(where applicable).
