**What can you expect?**
Your role is to maintain a financial lines client portfolio by focusing on developing strong client relationships and providing a superior client service, including regular client contact, risk and insurance program administration, technical advice and business development, including collaboration with other areas in MMC / Marsh. Ensure that accurate, efficient, and timely production of all clients, Insurer and policy related documentation and assist Senior Account Executive/Principals/Managing Principals within the Financials & Professional Services Division (FINPRO) QLD as required.

**We will count on you to**:
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding their needs and pro-actively responding to these needs
- Implement renewal and broking strategies based on client’s needs as required
- Liaise with the Claims team to ensure that clients’ interests are protected, and claims are settled in a timely matter
- Develop and maintain sound working relationships with insurers and assist with negotiations
- Maintain outstanding renewals, credit control and other necessary reporting over client portfolio
- Recognise new business opportunities (new or expanded) and act as appropriate on them in a timely manner
- Introduce new products or broader policies as appropriate
- Adhere strictly to the Company's policies, Quality practices and other systems and procedures.
- Mentor and assist with development of Assistant Account Executives
- Other duties as may be required from time to time.
**What you need to have**:
**Professional **Accreditation/Membership** (if applicable)**
- Meets the training requirements of Tier 1 FSRA Compliance;
- Associate - The Institute;
- Admission as a Qualified Practising Insurance Broker by the National Insurance Brokers Association of Australia.
**Educational Requirements (if applicable)**
- Degree in Insurance or related field;
- Diploma Financial Services.
