As part of their ongoing growth and development to deliver exceptional service, our client is currently recruiting for an Account Executive to join their team of experienced professionals in a collaborative working environment. As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring their insurance needs are met and building strong relationships with clients. Working for a thriving national brokerage, you'll evaluate clients' risks and insurance needs, negotiate, and secure insurance coverage, and provide advice and assistance. You'll also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, creating proposals, and developing pricing strategies. The Account Executive plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining long-term relationships with clients. **Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Source and convert new business leads for commercial SME and mid-market clientele
- Effectively manage an existing portfolio of commercial SME and mid-market business clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key SME clients
- Provide risk management advice and comprehensive insurance knowledge to clients
- Maintain industry/market knowledge
- Provide outstanding and efficient service to all customer

**We are looking for someone with**:

- Strong general insurance product knowledge
- 5 years of broking experience within the SME commercial environment
- The ability to proactively manage an existing portfolio
- Proven sales and business development capabilities
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Personable, proactive and customer focused

**Essential**
- Tier 1 broking qualification
- Right to work in Australia
