**The Opportunity**

The Administrative Support Officer will assist all functions within the People and Safety Team, including learning and development, payroll, talent acquisition and business partnering.

The nature of the role will provide administrative support in a variety of contexts and projects pertaining the People & Safety functions. The role, at times, will be fast paced and time sensitive. The role will also deal with confidential and sensitive information.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Providing administrative support including as applied to reporting and project related work.
- Assist with the preparation and scheduling of internal and external meetings.
- Maintenance of files related to people partnering functions.
- Record and register appropriate personnel information in Council’s Electronic Content Management System (ECM).
- Tasks relating to learning and development, payroll, talent acquisition and business partnering.

**About you**

**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- Post-secondary qualification in administration or human resources (below diploma level) plus some experience in an administration role; or relevant experience working in a human resources environment.
- Experience in an administrative role or relevant experience working in a People and Safety environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform recruitment and learning and development tasks.
- Ability to prioritise and perform a variety of administration tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
