We are currently working with a leading wholesaler based in Dandenong South, specialising in distribution services for our valued customers. Our company prides itself on delivering exceptional service and high-quality products. As part of our dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in managing the sales order cycle and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations.

**Position: Order Processing Specialist**
As an Order Processing Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales order cycle for our wholesale distribution customers. Reporting to the Orders & Logistics Manager, this is a full-time role that requires meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

**In this position, your key areas of responsibility will include**:

- Enter customer purchase orders into the system accurately
- Coordinate delivery time slots with major trading partners
- Book freight movements with our 3PL partners
- Manage Chep and Loscam pallet transfers
- Process all sales order documentation, including delivery dockets, invoices, freight consignments, and pallet transfers
- Liaise with internal and external warehouse staff to ensure stock accuracy
- Monitor freight movements to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
- Address customer queries and provide proof of delivery confirmations when necessary
- Work closely with procurement to maintain adequate stock levels in each warehouse

**About You**:

- Practical understanding and experience in an FMCG business will be highly regarded
- Sound knowledge of the order fulfillment process
- Previous experience in order processing, administration, and data entry
- Experience using business ERP systems, with exposure to SAP B1 highly regarded
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proactive and self-motivated approach to work
- Proficient with IT systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work under pressure without compromising speed and accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective communication with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers
- Experience with third-party logistics providers will be highly regarded
