**About the opportunity**

Lead our operational administration team to advance the StarTrack Express Processing and Transport Strategy in NSW/ACT. This role involves travel across our hubs to align state-based processes with business objectives. Employ technology-driven solutions to develop strategic administrative plans that align with business goals. In this key role, prioritize compliance, stakeholder engagement, and superior customer service to drive success and foster continuous improvement.

**What you’ll deliver with us**

Reporting to the State Operations Manager, you'll guide a team of 30 across multiple facilities in NSW/ACT, driving transformative change. With innovation and accountability, foster modernization and automation, revolutionizing our processes. Your leadership will set new standards, reshaping operations and inspiring excellence.

**You’ll also**
- Enhance administrative efficiency through process reviews to build state-based processes
- Lead a diverse team to optimise operational outcomes and drive the process enhancements
- Monitor network performance and collaborate with operations for proactive improvements
- Ensure strict compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and training, to prepare for internal audits
- Deliver insightful reporting, using financial analysis to evaluate productivity and cost impacts
- Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across all levels for informed business plan delivery
- Promote a culture emphasizing safety, wellbeing, and customer-centricity with our "One StarTrack" approach
- Set clear team expectations, recognize contributions, and support career development
- Establish effective operating rhythms to align with organizational objectives
- Address workplace changes and conflicts consultatively, adopting a harmonious environment & culture
- Champion continuous improvements, prioritizing customer satisfaction and safety in decision-making

**You’ll also have**
- Strong background in operational administrative management
- Experience in multi-division organizations with defined processes and protocols
- Ability to drive change in complex organizations with tight deadlines
- Outstanding influencing skills, aligned with safety, accountability, and customer focus
- Proficiency in decision-making, change implementation, and stakeholder engagement
- Understanding of competitive market dynamics and logistics operations
- Knowledge of IR and OH&S legislation in transport
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Your own vehicle and the ability to travel as per requirements
