**Description**:
Your role as an Employer Relationship Coordinator

You will play a vital role linking our service with local employers and creating job opportunities for our participants.

Creating relationships is a big part of this role and having the capacity to learn and understand the employers needs and job roles, that may be suitable for our valuable participants (jobseekers). As an Employer Relationship Coordinator, you will be working with local employers to create vacancies for our jobseekers. This is a relationship focused role where you will build and maintain the relationships to ensure a flow of repeat business

Employer Relationship Coordinators possess a strong knowledge of the local labour market and will use their relationship building skills and networks to create and support a portfolio of community champion businesses who employ and support our jobseekers. This knowledge will be paired with an understanding of our job seekers interests and skills will ensure the ‘Right Fit’ for both the jobseeker and employer.

You will be part of a team where everyone has a role to provide the best disability employment service in the country.

This role is based in Goulburn with regular travel to Bowral, Tahmoor, and Yass. A current driver's license is essential for this role.

**A typical day or week may include**:

- Enact program specific engagement plans and initiatives that builds strong pipelines of employment opportunities of our participants
- Engage with key stakeholders in the community to promote TPG services ( Employment, Health, Community services and Training)
- Attend community engagement events such as forums, workshops, networking and careers expos
- Partner with local employers to understand the labour market and source appropriate vacancies

**Skills and Experiences**:
Who are we looking for?

Employment service experience is not essential - We want people who can bring their lived experience from other roles, ideally a sales or relationship management background and industries. You must have a great work ethic, be passionate, fair and willing to support people with a disability, injury or mental health condition, find work that’s right for them.

**Key skills and attributes needed for the role**:

- A professional who has the ability to build deep relationships with ouir key stakeholders
- Someone who is self-motivated, results driven, proactive and has the ability to achieve targets,
- You must have a positive and flexible attitude with a willingness to learn,
- Competent user of CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
- High level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills

A current and valid driver’s license is essential for this role and if successful, you will need to undertake relevant security checks. (NDIS Worker Check, Police checks and Working with Childrens Check)
