Ocean Food Group, which houses two brands, The Lobster Pier and Hotlob, we aim to showcase Australian’s favourite lobster to the world As our name suggest, we serve lobster dishes, lobster rolls and other locally produced seafood.

Part of our growth strategy, we are looking for an Operations Assistant to support our team. Being a member of the Ocean Food Group team, you are a people person with a big heart, who is looking to grow in the F&B industry. To be considered for this role we require:

- Preferably minimum 3-year experience in similar role/industry.
- Preferably a background in hospitality management or related education qualification.
- A team player who can lead and as a supportive role
- A good understanding of OH&S practices.
- A strong communication skill
- A passion for people and a strong desire to work with your team to the best of their abilities.

Tasks and Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Supporting the daily operations of the business such as payroll, suppliers and other administrative tasks
- General customer services tasks, including handling customer enquiries
- Working with team to recruit new members, rostering and training.
- Monitor and ensure quality of the service delivered.
- Managing the inventory ensure that service is not disrupted
- Ensure restaurant compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
