**Who are we looking for?**:
We are looking for an experienced manager with demonstrated leadership in working within a child-centric, trauma-informed child protection framework. In this role you will be responsible for leading the Family Services Supervisors to drive service outcomes growth and development, whilst maintaining a seamless customer experience. You will have 4 direct reports that you collaborate closely with and a larger team of around 25 staff to embed clinical and reflective and restorative practices within. You will form part of a broader Children, Youth and Families and Homelessness Operational leadership team and integration is a primary driver.

Your work will directly contribute to the improved outcomes of vulnerable children, young people, care givers and families. There’s scope within this role for you to utilise your creativity and networking skills to explore new funding opportunities and partnerships with stakeholders to ensure and build upon best practice.

**What can you expect to be doing?**:

- Utilise your leadership experience to develop and motivate a multidisciplinary team to continuously improve client outcomes and grow the service with a focus on embedding culturally capable practice across Family Services.
- Network and engage with stakeholders to strengthen Community of Practice across the Children and Family Services sector state-wide.
- Ensure the voice of lived-experience is central to decision making and driving continuous improvement of services.
- Explore service growth opportunities and utilise financial acumen to create the most impactful solutions to challenges faced within the Family Services sector.
- Implement a consistent clinical supervision and professional development process that encourages continuous reflective, inclusive practice and succession planning.

**What do you need to bring?**:

- Degree level qualification in a Human Services discipline (Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, or Allied Health.
- Proven ability to work with First Nations communities, and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse, Newly Arrived and emerging communities.
- Demonstrable leadership and management ability, including the ability to work under broad direction, exercise original thinking and drive service innovation.
- Demonstrated change management skills.
- Capacity to work as part of a broader leadership team
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to consult, liaise, influence and negotiate on critical and sensitive issues in a culturally safe way.
- Comprehensive understanding of trauma informed service responses.
