Receptionist/admin/bookkeeper

Our client is a highly regarded boutique public accounting firm. You will be an Administration / Receptionist all-rounder and able to work with the team to coordinate daily operations within the firm.
The Receptionist / Office Admin serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees at the public accounting firm. This role plays a crucial part in creating a positive and professional impression of the firm and requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Act as a point of contact for all clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Answering phones and directing them to the correct point of contact within the firm.
- Dealing with the ATO with client queries, payment arrangements and tax lodgements.
- Day-to-day administration operations of the accounting firm.
- Work with the team to implement and improve administrative processes to enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate and work with team members and management to ensure seamless workflow across the business.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings as requested by staff or clients.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
- Knowledge of Cas360 for ASIC agent requirements.
- Ensuring the office remains clean and tidy, including general upkeep of rooms and operating the dishwasher as needed.
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as an admin assistant working within a public accounting firm.
- Knowledge of accounting terms, principles, and practices.
- Excellent organisational, implementation, and customer service skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with accounting software and technology.
- Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
