**A little bit about us**

The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts (the Department) is responsible for the design and implementation of the Australian Government's infrastructure, transport and regional development policies and programs, and is the lead agency for communications and the arts. The Human Resources and Property Branch is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of innovative human resource services and practices to ensure staff are equipped to meet immediate and emerging challenges, and work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver professional centralised services to the department.

**The opportunity we have available**

The Recruitment Team is a dedicated professional team seeking to fill an ongoing APS5 position. The role available will see you working across the branch and wider business areas to contribute to the department’s objective to attract, retain and develop the right people for the right jobs at the right time.

**What will you do?**

Working part of a team your key responsibilities will include:
- supporting stakeholders and providing advice on recruitment processes and onboarding matters-
- managing the day-to-day operations of the recruitment team-
- facilitating internal and external advertising, including through the Whole of Australian Government media agency-
- contributing to recruitment strategies, policies and continuous improvement of processes, systems and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and APS policy and practices-
- managing competing priorities in a proactive way with mínimal supervision-

**Who are we looking for?**- Experience in managing end-to-end recruitment as part of an in-house recruitment function serving internal stakeholders-
- Understanding of or the ability to quickly learn the Public Service Act, APS Commissioner’s Directions, and other relevant restrictions and guidelines that relate to APS recruitment-
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines-
- Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors is highly desirable but not mandatory-
- Ability to build strong relationship
