Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS5 Recruitment Advisor on a Non Ongoing contract for 12 months or Section 26 transfers.

**Position Overview**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The Recruitment Advisor is responsible for processing and advising stakeholders on attraction, selection and onboarding processes, providing a consultative approach to recruitment, ensuring recruitment best practices are followed. The Recruitment eRecruit Officer will perform additional duties.

**_Responsibilities of the APS 5 Recruitment Advisor may include:_**
- Provide timely and accurate advice on recruitment and selection activities within the framework of relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Process end to end recruitment activities including advertising vacancies, actioning recruitment requests, processing selection outcomes
- Manage onboarding processes to achieve timely commencements with accuracy while complying with legislation
- responsibility for coaching and training newer and less experienced members of a small work team

**_ The Recruitment Advisor (eRecruit):_**
This Advisor will perform the duties listed above as well as additional eRecruit support functions:

- Providing a high level of technical eRecruit support to managers and applicants of eRecruit
- Working with the recruitment team and eRecruit to enhance the effective use of eRecruit as a fully functioning recruitment system

**Capabilities Required**:
Applicants will be assessed against the following skills and capabilities:

- Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to liaise with stakeholder’s across a broad range of business areas to provide quality advice and assistance
- Ability to interpret and provide advice on HR-related issues, legislation and Australian Public Service (APS) employment frameworks
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to efficiently use eRrecruit or other HR systems
- Ability to work collaboratively to respond to changing demands
- Demonstrates initiative and commits to achieving outcome
- Recruitment Advisor (eRecruit)
- Ability to gain a high level of technical system knowledge
- Ability to work collaboratively with external system providers
