Claims Coordinator

**About the Role**
As an Event Response Claims Coordinator, you will be a key player in ensuring a swift and effective response to flooding events. Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriters and legal professionals, to ensure a comprehensive and timely resolution of property damage claims.
**Duties**
- Evaluate property damage claims, conduct thorough investigations, and gather relevant documentation to determine coverage, liability, and settlement eligibility.
- Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to determined the claims outcome.
- Negotiate with involved parties, such as contractors and repair professionals, to reach fair settlements. Process and finalise settlements, ensuring accurate paperwork completion and compliance with company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with policyholders throughout the claims process
**Please note**: You will be required to complete background and police checks prior to commencing, with a start date of early February.
- **Pay rate**: $30 - $35.00 per hour + super.
- **Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
- **Hybrid working**:
- **Contract Length**:Minimum 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension or conversion to permanent.
**Skills & Experience**
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and organisation
- Previous admin, scheduling or customer service experience
