YMS & Associates is an accounting firm specialising in Accounting and Taxation. We focus on both individual and business matters. We are registered tax agents with the Tax Practitioners Board. We hold public practising membership We are passionate about business and help many small to medium sized businesses with compliance, tax planning and advice.

We are seeking an experienced and eager to learn bookkeeper to join our team full-time. This role will provide you to work with diverse client and businesses. Guidance will be provided during the tenure with lots of potential to the scope of work.

**Requirements of the role include**:
Ø The ability to perform reconciliations of accounts.

Ø Preparing and lodging quarterly BAS.

Ø Processing clients Single Touch Payroll, and superannuation.

Ø Experience and competency using Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.

Ø Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ø Meet and greet clients when required.

Ø Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Ø Intimate knowledge of the workings of a professional practice.

Ø Liasing with the ATO on behalf of clients.

Ø ASIC knowledge.

Ø Must have experience in a bookkeeping role.

Ø High attention to detail.

Ø Must have excellent Xero software experience.

Ø Highest standard of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Ø Willingness to learn, show initiative and be a positive team player.

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- Bookkeeping certification (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
- Xero: 1 year (preferred)

Pay: $48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
