Jones Radiology is a doctor owned medical imaging practice committed to being at the forefront of quality, technology and innovation; with a track record in research imaging across the state's largest private hospitals and leading oncology research site at the Tennyson Centre.
The Clinical and Research Imaging Centre, in partnership with the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), is the premier site for advanced clinical research imaging in South Australia and part of the National Imaging Facility. It has strong collaboration in imaging sciences and clinical trials across South Australia’s three universities, industry and the health system.
**About the Opportunity**
As a key member of the Research Management Team, this role will coordinate Jones Radiology's research strategy, engaging across diverse research stakeholders to ensure efficient high-quality clinical research imaging throughout the network and support the SAHMRI collaboration at the Clinical & Research Imaging Centre.
The Research Administration Manager leads the day-to-day research office in collaboration with technical and clinical leaders. This role will be responsible for managing the practice's clinical trial portfolio to ensure appropriate systems are in place for document management and compliance, project costing, accurate reporting of research activity, and training of support staff to ensure smooth initiation and scheduling of projects within key clinics.
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- A qualification in a relevant field and a minimum 2 years’ experience in scientific and clinical research.
- Demonstrated knowledge of research regulatory environment and clinical trial lifecycle including dealing with HREC, Research Governance Offices, ICH and GCP.
- Understanding of health service delivery and working knowledge of radiology services or demonstrated ability to acquire such knowledge.
- Experience in clinical research or related project management requiring establishment of systems, practices and procedures.
- A high level of interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
