**Position Purpose**
We offer an exciting opportunity to join as a Team Leader for our Day Program and Respite service.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a small team, facilitating the delivery of high-quality services to participants with complex needs. Along with managing daily administration and reporting, site operations and compliance tasks, you will provide leadership and support to your team, ensuring participants' outcomes are maximised.
You will provide effective leadership and oversite of the program and/or worksite by prominently working in the field. You will lead and champion our organisation's values and be able to work with your team to provide mentoring and development opportunities.

You will maintain and enhance our high standards and build strong working relationships with our Participants and other essential stakeholders. This will include taking direct management responsibility for referrals, health and safety and compliance issues.
- Supporting the design and implementation of capacity-building programs.
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders, service delivery partners and families.
- Coordinate staff rosters and assist with payroll and billing.
- Managing incidents and conflict as they arise, including debriefing, reporting and engaging with response teams.
- Lead a team and provide advice and supervision to achieve positive outcomes.
- Ensure staff are skilled and knowledgeable in delivering contemporary disability services guided by the people we support.
- Facilitate and manage a partnership approach.
- Manage the running of services, including budgets, compliance, reporting and staff ratios.
- Manage, monitor and report on incidents and complaints
- Communicate and act in ways that are consistent with Kind & Care Supports values.
**Key Selection Criteria**
- Experience in a leadership position in delivering services to people with a disability.
- Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence.
- Strong communication skills with a variety of individuals.
- A passion and drive to use your leadership capability to make an impact in the sector.
- Ability to think creatively and use initiative.
- Overall leadership and management of our Day Program and Respite home.
- Responsible for rostering all direct support staff within these programs, including absenteeism monitoring and escalation recommendations.
- Complete all paperwork (i.e., medication, transportation, visitor logs etc).
- Understanding the client needs to match appropriate skilled staff to clients; to deliver services in line with their care plan.
- Supervision of support workers regularly.
- Maintain and build relationships with existing Participants and key referrers such as Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, and Allied Health Professionals.
- Nurturing a network of connections across the disability and community care sector.
- Management of budget and expenditure.
**Required Experience & Qualifications**:
- Experience in a leadership position within the delivery of services to people with a disability.
- Qualifications in Disability or relevant qualification based on role.
- Current unrestricted Australian driver's license.
- A passion and drive to use your leadership capability to make an impact in the sector
- Ability to think creatively and use initiative
