**The Opportunity**
Reporting to the Centre Director the focus of this “COO” role will be to support the Centre Director in the delivery of the 7-year ARC Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against Women’s (CEVAW) strategy and operations.
The appointee will have postgraduate qualifications and extensive, relevant experience, such as, extensive business management experience and proven research management expertise, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
You will need to have excellent high-level project management skills with proven ability to strategically manage and provide authoritative technical and administrative advice at a high level and to successfully managing all aspects of a large, complex and far-reaching research programme through to completion. You will drive compliance with ARC and other regulatory requirements and other logistics providers in and for the field research components, and ensure alignment with applicable policies, procedures and protocols relevant to the research and policy implementation being conducted.
