About the role

Responsible for ensuring patient information is available for care and decision making. This is achieved by preparing and scanning medical records for electronic viewing, maintaining the quality of the scanned, electronic (EMR) and paper medical records and other clerical and administrative duties as required.

This position is a part time night shift (2300h - 0700h) position of 30 hours a fortnight. It requires the incumbent to primarily cover the night shift and also all other positions within the Health Information Services department at Eastern Health; Health Information Services at Box Hill Hospital.

Shifts are rostered in advance. The night shift is 11.00pm to 7.00am Monday to Sunday, including weekends and public holidays when rostered. Shift length is 8.0 hours for the rostered shift.

Extra shifts could be offered depending on the needs of the department and they could vary across days and different shifts.

Regular day shifts start no earlier than 7.00am and end no later than 6.00pm Monday to Sunday, afternoon shift is 3.00pm to 11.00pm Monday to Sunday.
